Position Summary

San Angelo Country Club is seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-oriented Men s 19th Hole Attendant to provide exceptional service to members and guests in the Club s Men s 19th Hole.

This position is responsible for creating a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere while providing attentive beverage and food service. The ideal candidate is personable, professional, self-motivated, and comfortable developing relationships with members while maintaining the high service standards expected at a private country club.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests promptly and provide friendly, personalized service.
  
• Prepare and serve beer, wine, mixed drinks, and other beverages.
  
• Take food and beverage orders and accurately enter transactions into the Club s point-of-sale system.
  
• Maintain knowledge of available beverages, menu items, specials, and Club events.
  
• Monitor member needs and provide attentive service without being intrusive.
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar and service area.
  
• Restock beer, liquor, wine, mixers, glassware, supplies, and other items as needed.
  
• Follow proper opening and closing procedures.
  
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar surfaces, glassware, equipment, and surrounding areas.
  
• Follow all TABC regulations and Club policies regarding responsible alcohol service.
  
• Properly handle member charges, guest charges, and other transactions.
  
• Communicate effectively with kitchen, golf, and food & beverage staff.
  
• Assist with special events and tournament activity as needed.
  
• Build positive relationships with members while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.
  
• Perform other duties as assigned by Club management.
  

Qualifications

• Previous bartending, restaurant, country club, or hospitality experience preferred.
  
• Excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  
• Dependable and punctual with a professional appearance and demeanor.
  
• Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy periods.
  
• Basic knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and common cocktails preferred.
  
• TABC certification required or must be obtained upon employment.
  
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and golf tournament/event days as scheduled.
  

Physical Requirements

The position requires prolonged periods of standing and walking and the ability to bend, reach, lift, and carry supplies. Must be able to lift approximately 30 40 pounds when stocking beverages and supplies.
