Join our team as a FLT Driver based at our distribution centre in TankersleyWe are looking for hard working individuals that are enthusiastic and enjoy a challenge to join our team at our Distribution Centre in Tankersley, South Yorkshire.The role of FLT Driver is pivotal to the success of the operational function. The successful candidate will be responsible for moving produce around the warehouse in a safe, timely and accurate manner. Experience is essential due to the nature of the role.Details of location and shift patternShifts/hours:Reach FLT driver - 40 hours per week working Friday to MondayThe working hours are from 6am to 4.30pm Friday and Monday and from 8am to 6.30pm Saturday and SundayThe above role will involve working in the chill and ambient departmentsLocation: Company Shop Group, Tankersley Distribution Centre, Wentworth Way, Wentworth Industrial Estate, Tankersley, Barnsley, South Yorkshire S75 3DHRate of Pay: £14.75 per hourPlease note, our team operates around the clock, 24/7, and the successful candidates will be required to work bank holidays.Accountabilities and responsibilitiesTo ensure all stock is taken care of in a safe and proper mannerEnsure that all pre shift safety checks are completedReport any faults or issues with vehicles immediately to your line managerReport all accidents/near misses to your line managerMove pallets systemically via the warehouse management systemCheck all products for dispatching are accurate and free from damageEfficiently move products/orders to the correct areas in the warehouseEnsure picking areas are replenished throughout the dayMaintain equipment and materials that are used, and keep your area clean and tidyEnsure you conduct all operations in a manner which promotes safety in the workplaceFollow all Health and Safety and Environmental proceduresTo ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed in a timely and diligent mannerAdhere to the Clean As You Go policy at all timesAssist with other warehouse duties as requiredSkills and ExperienceHold a valid AITT, RTITB, ITSSAR or NPORS Reach Truck and or Counterbalance Driver LicenceExperience of working in a busy warehouse environmentGood Team WorkerGood Communication SkillsReliable and Good Time Keeping SkillsExperience with WMS (warehouse management systems)What's in it for youFree membership to Company Shop for you and 10 x nomineesAnnual Flu Injections, high street & leisure vouchers, and on-site ParkingOnsite café, Free Tea & Coffee, and Free Fruit FridayEmployee Assistance Programme – Grocery AidEligible for Costco membership and Cycle 2 WorkContributory pension scheme with death in service benefit#J-18808-Ljbffr
