TLC Nursing Associates, Inc.

TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Special Procedures Tech to assist in the performance of advanced diagnostic and interventional radiologic procedures. The Special Procedures Tech will work closely with physicians and clinical teams to ensure safe and accurate image-guided procedures across a variety of clinical settings.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for special radiological procedures, including angiography, myelography, and other interventional imaging exams.
• Operate fluoroscopy, digital subtraction angiography (DSA), and other imaging equipment to assist with diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by handling instruments, monitoring patient condition, and documenting case details.
• Adhere to sterile technique and infection control policies during all procedures.
• Ensure proper patient identification, education, and positioning for procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all imaging data is archived and submitted per protocol.
• Perform equipment checks, routine maintenance, and report any malfunctions promptly.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• ARRT certification required; advanced certification in Vascular Interventional (VI) or Cardiovascular Interventional (CI) preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in special procedures or interventional radiology preferred.
• Strong understanding of radiologic anatomy, imaging protocols, and sterile technique.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
