Job Title: Process Excellence Engineer

Location: San Angelo, TX (100% Onsite)

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1st Shift)

Pay Rate: $31.00 – $34.00 per hour

Contract Length: 12-month contract with potential for extension or permanent hire

Job Overview:

BEPC is actively seeking a Process Excellence Engineer to join our team in San Angelo, TX. This role is ideal for an analytical and results-driven individual passionate about continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing practices. You will lead initiatives to improve quality, cost, and delivery performance across manufacturing operations using Six Sigma, Lean, and Project Management methodologies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and implement process performance improvements related to Quality, Delivery, and Cost
  • Design and execute change management plans to optimize product, people, and information flow
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive business improvement through Lean and Six Sigma tools
  • Coach and mentor team members to develop continuous improvement capabilities
  • Analyze data and manufacturing flows to reduce constraints and increase throughput
  • Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards (ISO 13485, ISO 14001, OSHA 18001)
  • Prepare and present business cases and project outcomes


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related Science discipline (required)
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a business or manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of Six Sigma, Lean methodologies, and Project Management
  • Experience with continuous improvement tools like SPC, OEE, TQM, and CFM
  • Green Belt or Black Belt certification (preferred)
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations, GMP, and ISO standards
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills


Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to work onsite full-time
  • Occasional travel (up to 10%) and flexibility for overtime or off-shift work if needed
  • Ability to lead change and collaborate across teams
  • Knowledge of cost control (COGS, Design to Value, standard cost development) is a plus
