**Job Description:**

Provide production and support for food preparation, which includes but is not limited to cooking, stocking, rotating, serving, and maintaining of products within Housing and Dining.**----**

**General Notes**

Shifts will be offered starting at 4 hours up to 40 hours a week and can be determined in the interview.

**Responsibilities**

* Greet and interact with customers in a professional and upbeat manner. Serve a high quality product during open dining hours. Products may include performing short order or made to order cooking, while providing excellent customer service. Ability to read, follow and understand recipes. Break down, clean all serving areas and equipment, and properly store, label and date left over food items from the serving line and dining area. Take and record temperatures and ensure cleaning and detail cleaning tasks are completed throughout the shift.

* Set up, stock, clean and replenish the serving area during shift in compliance with location and food safety guidelines. Monitor, stock, and rotate inventory items. Inventory of items may in dry storage area, cooler, freezer, or beverage stations. Collect and document production records before, during and after service. Complete other tasks as assigned. Effectively communicate with customers and coworkers. Seek direction at beginning of shift and keep open communication with Management and staff throughout shift.

**Hourly Rate**
